“My name is Maria and I'm writing to describe why I did not purchase [Boogie Wipes] yesterday although I desperately wanted to.
I'm 48 years old, my children are grown. As a healthy woman, I find that the changes in my hormones have caused my skin to become brittle, even though I eat well, do not smoke, etc. I even practice yoga and use a neti pot.
I saw your product at Costco and I stood transfixed. Saline wipes? Sounds wonderful! Moisturizer? Fantastic! Bright Orange and Green and the word, "Boogie?" Cute, but completely age inappropriate for me.
I'm aiming for discreet, graceful, feminine. Please God, don't make me pull out a bright orange packet to advertise to the world that the skin around my nose and my nasal passages are dry.
I REALLY pondered the purchase, I stood there trying to imagine discreetly pulling out a wipe without showing the bright orange wrapper. I couldn't imagine it. Then I realized I was blocking the aisle--a nice man was staring at me helplessly--so I stepped aside, embarrassed.
Please please please consider re-marketing re-packaging your product for older females ( a HUGE market!) How about "Saavy Wipes" or even add something kitschy for grown ups like, "For Salty Dames" anything, as long as it is plain, pale, discreet...”
